On 19 March 1969 Auckland Bus Company auctioned off a large number of old buses, including these Ford V8s. Successful bidders were:

ABC number 18 was the only ABC Ford sold prior to the 1969 auction. it went to Abbots Motors
for use on the Beachlands bus service. The service was sold to H R Richards and EY3024 was part of the sale.The bus
has been Bedfordised.
