With a team drawn from an area 62 miles along State highway 6 and huge distances to travel to every away game, and no
charter company in the area South Westland Rugby Football Club solved the problems by buying, with heaps of local
sponsorship this Ford bus ex-H&H 69. Trading as SWRFC Buses the club is also a member of the Bus and Coach
Association so I presume charter work is done when the club aren't using it. Photo Mike Butler.
