Retired and awaiting disposal April 2005. 401's last task was to be used in the film "Baggae" in February 2005. The film company preferred "Stagecoach Wellington" to "Runciman Motors" so the decals were changed. The rear panel was removed so that generators could be installed for a power supply as most filming was done out on the road. Filming was done in Miramar, Kilbirne, bus tunnel and the front entrance to the Wellington Railway Station. Graeme Inwood drove the bus for filming and provided this explanation for the changed appearance. Photo Mike Butler
