1210 was one of a pair of McWhinnie bodied sightseeing bus seating 52 passengers used for sightseeing tours in Auckland. 1210 moved to the South Island doing service with Mt Cook from Christchurch and Fairlie and at Karamea. After 32 years as a passenger service vehicle it was purchased by John & Alison Robertson in 1995 and converted to a Movan with substantial alterations to the McWhinnie bodywork. The original Leyland 0400 engine was retained but now drives through an Allison automatic transmission.
