In Omnibus Monograph 5 David Jones says Kiwi 1 & 2 buses became Maxwell Motors 3 and 4. I think that Maxwell Motors acquired the ex-Edwards Duples from Billy Higgs and Sons. Kiwi 2 has continuous registration records and it was never with Maxwell Motors. Kiwi 1 was in Onehunga in 1971 still in Johnston Blue Motors livery. It was probably exported.
